Mr Dave Wibberley steps down as the Managing Director after more than 25 years at the helm of Adroit Technologies. Mr Johan Nieuwenhuizen, current Sales Director and Mr Frits Kok, current Chief Technology Officer have been appointed joint Chief Executive Officers (CEO’s). In addition, three new Directors have been appointed to the Board, namely Pawel Pietak, Director of Technical Services, Jason Munitich, Technical Director, and Hugo Pienaar, Director of Digital Services.
Dave Wibberley explains ”Adroit Technologies is a global software company supplying software into the factory and process industry in over 6 continents, with over 35 000 licenses sold to many happy customers in industries that span the industrial and IT environments. We have grown the business to 30 times the size from when we first took it on 25 years ago.
A big pivot in the company’s history was in 2012 when we took on the distribution of the Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation range of products. The association with this world-class company added credibility and depth to our offering.
However, despite the success everything needs new direction, leadership and energy to go to the next level. We felt that it was important going forward to reward and bring on internal staff that have in their own right shown leadership, commitment and initiative that has, for many years been the driving forces behind the company’s success. The new Directors bring in skills that will continue to enhance and deliver products to our customers that will see them being able to leverage their current investments in the Adroit SCADA and related products to take advantage of the productivity gains offered in the new digital world as well as focus on continued world-class service and support we have become so well-known for.”
Dave Wibberley and Mike Lamusse will retain their positions on the Board in an Advisory capacity.
