BACKUP/RESTORE VIA iQ-R AND GOT2000
The combined use of a VSD and GOT (Graphic Operator Terminal) is an excellent example of how Mitsubishi Electric products can be seamlessly integrated to create an automated solution. This integration offers many advantages, including time savings during the set-up phase and improved efficiency in the communication of field data towards the upper level.
BACKUP/RESTORE FUNCTION WITH MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC MELSEC IQ-R CONTROL AND GOT2000 PANEL
In an even more integrated solution, using a Mitsubishi Electric MELSEC IQ-R control, the GOT2000 panel can be used to restore data generated by the VSD PLC, To realize the system in the figure and enable the function, it is necessary to have a VSD that supports the CC-Link IE Field protocol and connect to the iQ-R modular PLC that acts as a master. The VSD setting is only available on the FR-A800 range with A8NCE board installed or with integrated CC-Link IE field protocol (FR-A800-GF). Moreover, the backup/restore function is only possible if the VSD is connected to a master station.
While communicating with MELSEC IQ-R CC-Link IE Field is necessary, data exchanged with GOT2000 needs standard Ethernet. Below are the VSD parameters that can be backed up and restored:
BENEFITS:
✓ Reduction of set-up times, and the possibility of creating parameterizations for groups of Inverters
✓ Easy setup for an automated Mitsubishi Electric solution
✓ Flexibility, prevention and security with the BACKUP/RESTORE function
