Employment Profile
We are looking for an experienced candidate who is passionate about automation and SCADA development projects, comfortable with occasional travel, adept at working both in a team and independently, self-motivated, and capable of taking full responsibility from project inception to completion. Having your own transportation is a must. We also offer a hybrid work format for our full-time employees. Our work environment is highly dynamic, and we engage in a diverse range of exciting projects across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and designing of SCADA Automation solutions.
- Configuration, development, implementation, and commissioning of SCADA projects.
- Setting up MS servers, networks, and MS security.
- System maintenance, product support, and fault finding.
- Manage and maintain backups and archiving of software and applications.
- Identify and drive process improvements.
- Ensure that we, as a team, meet the planned project objectives, and customer requirements.
- Timely feedback, timesheets, site audit reports, and project signoffs will be expected.
- Perform Service Level Agreement audit and standby duties.
- Provide knowledge and customer product support, troubleshooting existing installations remotely or in the field.

Qualifications:
- Minimum Grade 12 or N3 and 5 years of working experience in industrial automation control-related projects.
- A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electronic engineering, computer science, automation, mechatronics or a related discipline will certainly count in your favour.
Skills and abilities:
- As a SCADA engineer, you should have a good understanding of SCADA systems, agents, tags, scan points, networking architecture, security, databases, and reporting.
- You must have good spatial acumen and planning ability and enjoy working with graphics and user interfaces.
- Able to read and interpret P&ID diagrams, electrical wiring diagrams, and SCADA system network architectures.
- Excellent hardware and OS knowledge both on desktops PC’s and IPC’s
- Good understanding of virtualised environments
- Good understanding of the interfacing between the Information Technology and the Operational Technology environments
- Be able to program using C++, C#, and Java or similar languages is highly beneficial.
- Must have a reasonable understanding of Azure, HTML, and .Net platforms.
- We expect some experience working with SQL databases and reports.
- Must be able to write technical documentation, such as Functional Design & Specifications, and Configuration Standards Documents.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.

Other:
- Must have your own transportation to and from our offices.
- Regular working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Occasional overtime work might be required.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.
