Adroit Report Suite – User Manual

The Adroit Report Suite is a value-add information system based on specific Adroit agent data logged to an OLE DB database. Information is presented in the form of web based reporting through the Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services platform. The technology is distributed as a free add-on solution to Adroit SCADA.

The suite consists of report packs and a Report Deployment Utility. Each report pack includes a set of reports specifically designed to report relevant and accurate information on the Adroit system and specific Adroit agents.

This document provides a basic introduction to Adroit Technologies and the Adroit Report Suite value-add system, with a brief overview of the Adroit SCADA software package for the purpose of convenience and reference.

Adroit Report Suite – Deployment Utility Manual

The Adroit Report Deployment Utility will help you with the more complex tasks of managing your SQL Server Reporting Services. It was created to help you create and deploy Report Packs. The utility interacts with SQL Server Reporting Services’ Web service.

A Report Pack is a combination of Reporting Services Reports, data sources, components and resources all in one manageable “pack”. These packs can be created and imported with the use of the Adroit Report Deployment Utility. Adroit will be making their reports packs available as installation files.

Adroit Report Suite – Report Pack Standard

Adroit Report Pack provides basic insight to your system and process as well as offering you a free web-based view into historical trends.  Reports are further categorized as Auditing, Data logging and General.

Auditing that provides the tools necessary to view the activities of the Agent server and Smart UI server with reports such Adroit Audit Activity and Smart UI Audit Activity. It is also a report set to measure the duration of the session of the Agent server with a report such as the Agent Server Session.

This version of the Adroit Report Pack also introduce us to a report that shows changes that required authorization on a Smart UI data element (agent.slot). This report is built on the same methodology of Title 21 CFR Part 11

Data logging is extended through a standard DBLog agent that can be configured to log data points for any agent to an OLEDB compliant database.  The report set combines summary tables with statistics and line charts to plot data trends.  All of which combines through drill down and drill through functionality provided.

General refers to Ad Hoc reports based around various server or agent functionality.  A New DumpConfig (Export) agent was launched with Adroit 10 that provides functionality to export specific agent types with current slot values as configured.  A configuration export report is available to use as a configuration datasheet or snapshot view on agent status.  Similarly a Historical alarm report is based on a limited alarm management dataset for basic information.

Adroit Report Suite – Report Pack AMA

Adroit Alarm Management Agent allows the routing of any alarms in Adroit through to the structured alarm management database and allows user functionality such as adding and logging incident context, performance targets, notes and database housekeeping.

The Adroit Alarm Management Reports utility provide tools necessary to a system’s logged alarming data with reports such as the Alarm System Performance reports helping to measure the performance of an alarm system and the Alarm Analysis reports, which allows analysis of historical alarms in the system: supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The Alarm Management Agent in Adroit and its associated Reports in Adroit Report Suite draw on the ISA 18.2 Standard, EEMUA 191 Guidelines, research performed by DC Campbell Brown and Adroit Technologies’ experience around alarming and alarming systems.

This document introduces Adroit Technologies and the Adroit Alarm Management Agent and Reports with a brief overview of the Adroit SCADA software package for the purpose of convenience and reference.

Adroit Report Suite – Report Pack ASI

SCADA Intelligence Standard Report Pack provides a set of tools and reports necessary to trend, analyse, view data or create ad hoc reports based on Adroit SCADA Intelligence data.

The reports have been specifically designed to represent standard views based on common or pre-defined system configuration. These reports cover a wide variety of industries, however, can easily be tailored to industry custom reports.

Each individual report was built through using standard report parts included in the report pack. Report parts are self-contained report items that are stored on the report server and can be included in other reports as means of rapid report development.

As part of the pack a set of various report templates are included, that can be modified or used in conjunction with pre-defined report parts to create adhoc reports.

Adroit Report Suite – Report Pack EMS

Adroit Environmental Management System (EMS) allows the routing of any alarms in Adroit through to the structured Alarm Management and DumpConfig databases respectively and allows user functionality such as adding and logging incident context, performance targets, notes and database housekeeping.

The Adroit Alarm Management Reports utility provide tools necessary to a system’s logged alarming data with reports such as the Incident Count, incident Duration, Export Incident Count and Export Incident Duration reports helping to analyse the number of alarm incidents.

This document provides a basic introduction to Adroit Technologies and the Adroit Environmental Management System Reports with a brief overview of the Adroit SCADA software package for the purpose of convenience and reference.

Adroit Report Suite – Report Pack OEE

Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is a measurement of how effectively a single piece of equipment, or a group of equipment, and even how an entire factory is being utilised. This takes into account all losses in downtime, speed and quality and can, therefore, be used for analysis and benchmark or measure a specific KPIKey Performance Indicator, a quantifiable measurement that measures how well something is accomplishing its goals and objectives.

In other words, individual OEE agents can be applied to any component or part of a process for which a variable denoting a measurement of output is available. The measured KPI can either compare actual performance with benchmark figures or compare shift performances or today’s performance with the previous day or the previous day’s shifts.
